Elizabeth Allen is naughty, spoilt and selfish. Her mother decides to send her away to boarding school. Elizabeth makes up her mind to be the naughtiest pupil there’s ever been!

On the train to school she is rude to her fellow pupils and when she meets the head teachers she gives them naughty nicknames! During school Elizabeth plays a silly prank on one of her classmates and gets sent out of class. She plays several tricks and pranks on her classmates and teachers and gets disgraced many times.

But once, after breaking a rule, she meets the head girl Rita. Rita tells her a disturbing story and Elizabeth agrees to help a girl named Joan. Elizabeth happens to be the most amazing and tender-hearted friend Joan has ever seen! She sticks by Joan during difficult times and helps her all the way.

Once more, Elizabeth goes against the rules, but this time it’s to help her friend Joan. But alas! The plan doesn’t go the way she expected it to and Joan falls seriously ill! Elizabeth tries to do all she can to help her friend and soon she puts things right again with a little help.

Soon Elizabeth makes a pleasant decision, she decides to stay on at Whyteleafe School and all’s well that ends well.
